Rebekah is the creator of the SEO Certification program for UC Davis.  Throughout her 10 years in digital marketing, she has led the Organic Growth Department at an agency, creating strategies for fortune 500 clients around the world.  She has also has worked as a freelance SEO consultant and in-house consultant.

This course was designed for small business owners and bloggers in mind, but it also teaches excellent skills to anyone in marketing related fields who want to improve their career development.

I hear SEO is really technical, what skills are required to take this course?

SEO can be technical, but for the small business owner or blogger looking for easy ways to optimize their site, there are a lot of non-technical ways to generate lots of organic traffic.

What's the difference between this course and your SEO Certification course through UC Davis?

The SEO Certification program is an intense study program for people who want to become SEOs or improve their marketing expertise.  It comes with assignments to build a complete portfolio to help you gain more job interviews or clients.

This course is the need-to-know basics for someone who wants to optimize their own website, but doesn't need all the extra information.

Do you provide guidance throughout this course?

This course is a hands-on DIY method of self-study.  I will be launching this same course in the form of a workshop, where we go through the main areas together and I can provide feedback on the work you've done.  Stay tuned if you're interested in more guidance.
